“Moments ago we spoke with Cathi Comar, the executive director of the American Museum of Fly Fishing, and learned that the Museum has gone ahead with their invitation to former Vice President Dick Cheney to attend their annual fundraiser dinner in the fall… ‘Although we work with conservation organizations,’ she said, ‘conservation itself is outside of our role.’”

Why wouldn’t they want Dick to come? He and W has done more to advance the need for such a museum (the only place we may see historical clips & artifacts of what fishing was) than most of the previous administrations combined.

Come on, other than gutting environmental regulations, adding disturbing layers of secrecy to the executive branch, promoting torture in the name of security, using fear tactics to erode our rights to privacy, and enriching his friends through war-time profiteering in the form of no-bid contracts, what did the guy do that’s so bad?
