unlimited bo diddley appreciation

One of my favorite vinyl albums of all time is wild billy childish and thee headcoats “Bo in Thee Garage”. It’s a double album of wild billy and his cohorts covering a couple hours worth of Bo Diddley stomp and rumble. That Diddley’s music and innovation described a straight line right down the center of rock music — from its origins to its later-day stylistic fragmentation — is testament to his greatness. Here’s the NYT obit.

Not to mention he had a Maraca player named Jerome (on the left) and he played a Gretsch. Bring it on home.
